The Nasdaq Internship Program provides successful candidates with a unique opportunity to experience a challenging and immersive 10-week internship. As participants of our Internship Program, you will deliver real, impactful work within a business unit. You will get a chance to work on a project along with a mentor, network with senior colleagues, and present your project towards the end of the program. You will also participate in learning and development sessions with diverse topics to help you grow and succeed as you establish your career.

Our Team

The Global Technological operations team provide 24x7 to all the business applications at Nasdaq. We partner with various business operations and technology teams to our platforms are operating within SLA. This organization is also in charge provide observability and performance monitoring for these business applications. We leverage solutions from Splunk, Datadog, Appdynamics to support both on premise and cloud environments.

Your Role

The intern will be managing our technical operation roadmap projects as we are in the middle of a transformational journey. We are taking a new approach starting from application on boarding to production run state. With this program we are enhance our service delivery with automation and integration of all existing technical operations tools and processes

The Ideal Candidate

• Is working on completing a degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or related field (graduating in 2022).
• Must have excellent communication skills and a self-starter.

• Has knowledge and experience in programming.
• Technical skills are plus but we will train to help the intern project manage internal teams and coordinate with external vendor to resolve issues and overcome bottlenecks.

Project Overview

The intern will help manage our technical operations tool suite which have incorporate integration of various tools. This project will require focus working with stakeholder teams and use JIRA two assign task and track progression of the project. The team and assigned mentor will empower the intern to understand the scope and aid in his or her delivery of this project.

This is a paid internship with a gross hourly salary range of €6.50 to €7.00. As this position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania, a valid study and/or work permit for the EU is mandatory.
