SECURITY SPECIALIST

Currently we are looking for a Security Specialist for a project with our foreign client. The client is a huge corporation operating in more than 160 countries globally. The fundamental purpose of this role is to support the Security team in creating and implementing security controls, related to the ISO27001 standard, analyzing and reporting on security incidents and providing relevant stakeholders with advice about best practices and implementation of industry standards. 

Information Security:

Responsible for the implementation, expansion and continuity of the ISMS and ISO/IEC27001 controls.
Monitoring compliancy with the information security policy, legislation and regulations based on assessments, tests, reviews and audits, and inform and advise senior management and draft constructive follow-up.
Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities in current configurations.
Registration, analysis and reporting of information security incidents.
Promoting an internal and external information security culture by ensuring security awareness.
Gathering, mapping and reporting of threat intelligence.
Analysis and mitigation based on SOC reports.
Assisting relevant stakeholders in case of a security incident.

Security Consultation and Advisory:

Providing subject matter knowledge and consultation to clients on (the implementation of) information security standards and industry best practices (ISO/IEC27001).
Initiating and managing minor internal and external information security projects and collaborating with key stakeholders on other security related projects. 

Communication:

Provide excellent communication with all relevant stakeholders regarding information security policy implementation, reporting, security incident management and other general communications.
Communicate on behalf of and be the voice of the Manager, IT Security.

Bachelor Degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science or other related discipline.
0 - 3 years relevant work experience .
SSCP (ISC)2 certification or equivalent - preferred.
Knowledge in ICT and information security - preferred.
Knowledge of ICT public cloud platforms.
Knowledge of technical standards for information security.
Knowledge of ISO27001/ISO27002 - preferred.
Must by highly analytical, have a willingness to learn and be quality and results oriented.
Act at all times with high ethical standards – in accordance with the Code of Ethics Canons set by ISC2 certification.
