TEAM LEAD (INTERNAL SYSTEMS)

We are:
Wix’s Internal Systems team. Our mission is to make the Wix employee experience intuitive, efficient, smart, and fun in all Wix offices worldwide.
We build and implement products within Wix and we integrate with 3rd party tools allowing Wix to expand. We adapt fast to new needs and areas, connecting processes and technologies in a way that feels seamless, connected, and intuitive for the user.

You are:
A leader with 2+ years of experience in leading a team of 2 or more engineers. You can create a vision and lead people throughout its execution. You’re flexible, passionate, intelligent, a good listener and you’re not afraid to share your opinions.
You have extensive experience with server-side technologies (Java, Scala, Node.js, etc.) and you’re not a stranger to frontend paradigms. You’re also experienced in software design, coding, and delivery to production, and you have knowledge of web development.

As an Internal Systems Team Lead, you will:

• Manage a team of 7 engineers;
• Work as a part of the team in hands-on development at least 60% of the time;
• Mentor and advise the team in code review, pair-programming, and more;
• Manage the team’s tasks and priorities;
• Share knowledge between your team and other teams in the group;
• Discover technical debt and challenges and assist in solving them.
