We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and play an important role in the development and maintenance of our distributed system.

We are already rocking Golang, MongoDB, and various distributed messaging systems that are easy to fall in love with but hands-on experience is never enough. Join us!

What you’ll do @ Omnisend:

• Assist stakeholders in planning features
• Design, develop and test features
• Maintain features with meaningful dashboards, logging, alerting
• Proactively review and improve features
• Support implemented features
• Share good practices with team members and help them grow

We expect that you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high load systems
• Proficiency in any backend programming language and willingness to learn Golang
• Deep knowledge and experience with any database and willingness to learn MongoDB
• Fluency in English on technical topics

Big bonus if you have experience in:

• Any experience in writing automated tests or willingness to learn it
• Knowledge with CI/CD or willingness to learn it
• Previous practices in software development using Agile methodology
