Invest Lithuania is the first point of contact for global companies looking to establish operations in Lithuania. We are focused on building the perfect product for global business, in order to attract foreign direct investment that leads to new jobs and capital investment. In 2020, Invest Lithuania contributed to 4000+ new jobs from 42 international companies.

Currently we are looking for an ambitious, energetic and professional Investment Advisor to join our TECH Team in Business Development Department.

Your main goal in this position will be to identify, build relationships with and consult international Software engineering companies on the benefits and opportunities of setting up in Lithuania. It is an exciting high-impact role where your achievements will be tangible and will be measured by the number of new companies coming to Lithuania and the number of jobs they create.


We invite you to:

  • Provide leadership, expertise, and operational support in the process of attracting high-growth software engineering companies to set up their operations in Lithuania.
  • Plan and implement sales and marketing initiatives to meet agreed objectives.
    Actively contribute to the team’s activities, bring new ideas to the table and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to implement them.
  • Closely follow global technology and software sector trends, participate in industry events, research and proactively identify foreign direct investment opportunities for Lithuania.
  • Develop a strong international network of founders and executives in high-growth technology companies, industry’s opinion leaders, VCs, sector associations and service providers.
  • Drive towards a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring a client-focused, target-driven approach at all times.

We expect you to have:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, marketing, business administration, political science or similar area.
  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in sales, management consulting or business development, ideally in an international and B2B context.
  • Understanding of the Lithuanian business environment and key aspects of doing business, interest in global technology industry trends and innovations. Knowledge of Software development sector locally and internationally would be an advantage.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, IT literacy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian and Lithuanian.
  • Strong inter-personal and inter-cultural communication and presentation skills.

  • Salary range from 1550-2050 EUR gross per month, based on experience.
