We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our team in Kaunas or Vilnius.
Ideally, our new team member is dedicated to the craft, writes code that they are proud of and can hit the ground running.
As a PHP Developer, you will write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our partner products in meaningful ways.
You will work with multiple projects including AEC Parcel Service, Shipzee and some other fast-growing logistics projects.
Responsibilities:
- Write “clean”, well-designed code;
- Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality;
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle;
- Follow industry best practices;
- Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in PHP;
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks;
- Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL);
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
- Understanding of OOP, RESTful API’s;
- Experience with code testing (PHPUnit, Behat), familiarity with TDD principles;
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, jQuery;
- Fluency in English;
- Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking;
- Creative problem solving and can-do approach;
- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
