Senior officer - finance & accounting services

Description
The selected candidate will be a member of the finance and accounting team at Amicorp Baltic office with the primary responsibility to execute and monitor the preparation of periodic reports, budgets and other specific reports as required.

Responsibilities
• Co-ordinate all the work on the Group level with Financial Controller, CFO.
• Maintain General ledger, review Trial Balance, prepare financial statements and accounting schedules.
• Produce management information reports and accounts’ reconciliation related to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.
• Allocate client receipts in the bank accounts against the respective Accounts Receivable client balance; co-ordinate with central collection team to resolve unallocated receipts.
• Prepare audit schedules.
• Take part in preparation of annual budget and variance analysis of Budget Vs Actual for reporting to group management
• Monthly review of managerial reports of Amicorp group offices before distribution to the Board of Directors
• Quarterly review of Amicorp Group entities’ balance sheets to ensure completeness and correctness of accounting done by Amicorp back office
• Quarterly accrual of referral fees based on agreements with intermediaries, yearly efficiency analysis of collaboration with intermediaries
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools and Excel dashboards

Skills and requirements
• University degree in economics, finance and/or similar
• 3+ years of similar experience
• Experience in Financial accounting, internal audit or managerial reporting
• Strong skills pertaining to preparation of financial statements, management reports and budgets
• IFRS accounting background would be an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent social and interpersonal skills (a team player).
• Capability to work under time pressure and in a dynamic business environment.
