We are looking for you to run the Scrum processes in the Digital Product department. You will guide the team on using Agile values and best practices to ensure continuous roadmap delivery. You will closely interact with diverse professionals, including software engineers, business analysts, quality assurance, product owners, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across the organization. In addition, you will directly manage some smaller initiatives and support external reporting.

Your main objectives will be to:

  • Facilitate daily scrums, sprint ceremonies, discussion, workshops, decision making, and conflict resolution.

  • Track the metrics on milestones, timelines, scope, and issues associated with the project through reports and presentations you deliver to the project team. 

  • Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.

  • Support the team from outside interference and take a leadership role in removing impediments that inhibit team productivity.

  • Assist with internal and external communication, improve transparency, and radiate information.

  • Collaborate with team to continuously inspect and adapt processes and practices.

  • Support Product Owner to focus on value throughout backlog creation, refinement, prioritization and release planning; ensure the backlog is dependency aware.

  • Coordinate with digital developers to ensure the efficient delivery of projects that meet business needs. 

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, science, business, or similar; technical background or equivalent work experience is preferred.

  • 2+ years of Agile Coaching (or Project Management) experience, preferably within the financial services sector.

  • Excellent understanding of Agile principles and Scrum.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages would be an advantage.

  • Ability to lead and inspire others, as well as solid communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

  • Experienced in using metrics and other data to help team gain insight into and improve their process.

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment.

  • Advanced knowledge of the JIRA tool is a plus.

  • Lean and Scaled Agile Framework knowledge a plus.

What will make you stand out:

  • First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I).

  • SAFe – SA or CSP certification.

  • Proven experience working independently (without supervision).

  • Experience in an Agile environment with teams in different locations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and according to priorities.

Annual base salary gross: 20,786.00 – 38,514.00 EUR

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.  The salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
