Wix’s Mobile team. We’re developing the Wix mobile app, enabling our users to manage their business from the convenience of their mobile phone, anytime and anywhere. We create fun, beautiful products that have a meaningful impact on millions of people around the world.
We’re also a prominent player in the React Native community, and have created many popular libraries and infrastructure tools for the React Native ecosystem.
We’re looking for a passionate team player to join our growing team.
You are:
An ambitious and creative student with a talent and passion for coding and a positive attitude. You’re a self-starter and a problem solver passionate about mobile applications and mobile development, and you’re able to work 30+ hours a week (with flexibility during exam periods) while studying for a computer science (or equivalent) degree.
Bonus points if you have:
- Personal projects/open source projects you can showcase
- Experience with React and React Native
- Experience with Android/iOS development
- Knowledge in JavaScript frameworks
As a Student Mobile Developer, you will:
- Work with Native and React Native code base
- Manage tasks and complete them through TDD, continuous integration and modern development processes
- Be in charge of handling fixes and developing new features for our mobile application
- Push your own limits and continuously challenge your knowledge of how to scale mobile development
- Make a powerful and positive impact on over 1 million monthly users
This is a fixed-term position with a possibility to work 30 hrs/week OR less until your graduation. Later on you will have a chance to switch to full-time permanent position.
