Senior Consultant in Tax Services Remediation Program (fixed-term)

Tax Services & Customer Reporting is an important area providing dividend taxation and investment reporting services to all clients in the Danske Bank Group.

By joining us, you will become a part of a newly created Tax Services Remediation Program of around 30-50 highly specialised colleagues in Denmark and Lithuania, play a significant role in achieving our mission, and be part of culture where we take pride in our work and care about each other’s wellbeing.

As our new team member, work hand-in-hand with project managers and project teams, and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure Tax Services are built on solid operational foundation relying on efficient and compliant processes. In your day-to-day work, you will report to Head of Tax Services Remediation Program or one of the project managers within the Program.

*This is a one-year contract with the possibility to secure permanent position at Danske Bank.

Skills

As our ideal candidate, you bring:

• consulting or project management experience from financial industry
• possess strong problem solving, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• you are proactive and you thrive in an ever-changing environment where your “can do” attitude always enables you to roll up your sleeves and deliver.

In addition to the above, you ideally have:

• Great MS Office skills, especially with Power Point and Excel
• Ability to communicate complex information in a simple and engaging way
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Willingness to take ownership and drive tasks through to a successful conclusion
• Ability to work independently and in close collaboration with team members
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)

Mission

As our new team member, you will be a part of Tax Services Remediation PMO. You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Tax Services Remediation Program and project managers to oversee traction and delivery of our project portfolio and ensure timely and quality management and stakeholder reporting. Your main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Preparation of reports to executive management and presentation material for various steering and stakeholder meetings
• Day-to-day support to Head of Tax Services Remediation Program and ad-hoc support to project managers
• Program portfolio traction oversight, reporting and escalation
• Collaboration, coordination and communication with different stakeholders across the organisation
• Facilitation of meetings and workshops to ensure progress and alignment
