Design Engineer

• Perform standard engineering assignments that may involve equipment or product design, testing of materials, preparation of accomplishment instructions, drawings, technical reports & supplements;
• Coordination with DE, CVE’s different specialism, Head of Design Organisation, Head of Airworthiness.
• The Design Engineer is responsible to establish compliance with the applicable airworthiness, operational suitability and environmental protection requirements applicable (including any other certification specifications the Head of Office of Airworthiness and CVE’s finds are directly related);
• Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work.

• Minimum 1 year experience in design organisation (EASA Part 21 Subpart J) related to commercial aviation;
• Familiar with EASA Part 21 Regulatory Requirements;
• Important computer skills: AutoCAD, MS Office and SolidWorks (optional);
• Good time-management & communication skills as well as understanding regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
