Senior SRE Engineer

Having in mind the above, we’re looking for an engineer who could join our SRE team and help the company to grow faster. One of our strengths as a company is autonomous and empowered teams. That being said - we as SRE build a platform for experienced teams that they would be able to choose, spin and observe standard building blocks easily.

What you’ll do @Omnisend:

• Building self-service for datastores (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, redis);
• Ensuring that Experience teams can spin and observe datastores autonomously;
• Logs, metrics and alerts reach prometheus, loki, graylog, opsgenie;
• Spreading knowledge in terms of how to use standard building blocks;
• Experimentation with new stack elements or services;
• Syncing knowledge with other SRE Engineers in terms of Kubernetes, Observability, Data transport and other technologies and practices.

We expect that you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience with any datastore (preferably MongoDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL redis);
• Understanding and knowledge of IaaS (Terraform, Ansible, etc.);
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of cloud services (any major cloud provider);
• Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Debian);
• Battlefield experience with Kubernetes and Helm (plus);
• Golang knowledge (huge plus).
