Senior Lawyer

FL Technics is looking for a Senior Lawyer to join the Legal Team of HQ office located Vilnius.

The ideal candidate is an experienced lawyer with successful track record in international commercial transactions, corporate matters and project management and support. 

About the position: 

• Owning Legal projects through to successful delivery. Form the project team, make sure roles and responsibilities are established, that tasks are identified, allocated, deadlines agreed upon and followed up so projects are successfully delivered to time, cost and quality;
• Owning Contracting activity’s legal support by creating and standardizing processes, contracting playbooks and policies for a legal and sales teams; creating, monitoring and ensuring contracting activity’s KPIs;
• Being the team lead in project management and contracting activity for other colleges of Legal Unit;
• Drafting and negotiating various legal documents (international commercial contracts, their templates, corporate documents, etc.), including legal support of most important business transactions;
• Participating in the Legal and business projects ensuring successful delivery of the assigned tasks;
• Participating in Group-wide legislation (policies, guidelines, etc.) development in cooperation with group companies by drafting, reviewing needed documentation and monitoring and coordinating its implementation;
• Effectively managing business legal risks (identifying, assessing, advising, mitigating and monitoring);
• Representing organization’s position to the third-party organizations including the court (agreement and enterprise jurisdiction);
• Continuous reviewing and making recommendations for improvements to the existing processes and procedures, leading the implementation of needed changes;
• Providing legal advises to internal clients in writing and orally;
• Researching on legal practice and cases.

What you bring:

• A University degree in Law;
• At least 5 years’ experience in business law field in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, preferably in the international business;
• Successful experience in implementation of best business contracting practices (templates, contracting playbooks for Legal and Sales teams, contracting policies, etc.);
• Successful experience in managing Legal Projects or supporting business projects form a legal side;
• Legal expertise of business law (corporate matters, commercial transactions);
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian, English (at least C1 level) and Russian (at least B2 level);
• Ability to see the bigger picture while at the same time being detail-oriented;
• Teamwork skills which would allow to effectively work in a multicultural environment with plenty of cross-departmental and cross-border collaboration;
• Good time & stress management;
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm and initiative.
