SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER

For the past 2 years, Ars Ingenii is designing and developing an innovative concept, which consists of a software solution, mechatronics and automated supply chain. By now we have  raised more than 3 million EUR from several venture capital funds.

If you are tired from monotonous projects with the same old results and you aspire to work with technology that can be seen in LOGIMAT, CEMAT or other INDUSTRY 4.0 conferences – this is a position for you. We are looking for a SENIOR CONTROLS ENGINEER, whose main mission will be to design and create controls software system for a patented hardware solution. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs controls system for material handling solution (warehouse equipment , micro fulfilment center);

• Defines & documents specifications for software being built;

• Chooses best technology for controls system (C#, .NET or similar);

• Builds and manages inhouse controls development team (up to 6 members);

• Leads designed solution realization (in-house software engineering and outsource partners);

• Closely works with other departments (Mechanical Engineering; Automation Solutions; Digital Products)

• Takes ownership of strategically important technological solutions;

• Collobarates with international partners & suppliers;

• Constantly analyzes technological trends and presents proposal to the management; 

REQUIREMENTS

• Education in Engineering or related relevant discipline;

• 8-10 years of experience in Hardware Automation including controls design and software development within projects in mechatronics field;

• Strong expierence in .NET, C# or similar software development; 

• Basic understanding of PLCs;

• Basic understanding of fieldbus systems and I/O equipment, e.g. Profibus, Profinet, ASi, TCP/IP;

• Basic understanding of other controls automation related equipment, e.g. Bar code scanners, machine vision systems, HMIs, Variable frequency and servo drives;

• Ability to work in an R&D work environment;

• Strong personality with the ability to stand the position and negotiate;

• Results-oriented team player who can confidently lead the project with a “hands-on” approach;

• Creative problem solving and can-do approach;
