The Project Manager will work within the Global Compliance Project Management and Regulatory Filings Group based in Latin America. The individual will be responsible for organizing and managing a variety of compliance projects globally with an emphasis on compliance related initiatives, regulatory change and regulatory reporting requirements. This opportunity involves working on multiple concurrent projects across various jurisdictions globally while ensuring consistency, control and quality. The role will require significant interaction with Compliance, Government and Public Affairs colleagues globally and other Shared Services functions including Legal, Credit Policy, Finance, Global Operations, IT, Lines of Business and Regional Management.

Requirements:

• College degree, 4+ years experience (preferably in financial services)
• Project management skills, experience in planning and executing management initiatives
• Experience with a financial industry regulator, corporate Legal, Compliance, Audit department of a regulated financial services firm a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, detail orientated, ability to manage several projects concurrently
• Strong skills in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Visio and Project a plus)
• Reporting experience, regulatory reporting a plus
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with changing priorities
• Able to work independently, use own initiative without close supervision
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Professional, pro-active, diligent, flexible and results orientated
• Ability to work independently and as part of an internationally based team
• Experience working with global teams a plus

Responsibilities:

• Manage Latin America regional and local compliance and regulatory related projects
• Coordinate project execution, track deliverables, report progress to project team and stakeholders
• Develop project plans, action items, specific deliverables, monitor accountabilities and due dates
• Gather project requirements, document objectives, develop project management structure
• Prepare weekly status reports, management dashboards, project status updates
• Chair project meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, facilitate completion of action items
• Gather data from across the firm for regulatory filings
• Track global regulatory reporting requirements, coordination of Latin America regulatory filings
• Maintain Latin America regulatory reporting calendar, incorporate new requirements into global inventory
• Manage centralized data repository, maintain reporting and project documentation
• Develop project management tools using MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project applications
• Support the Latin America Compliance officers on various projects and initiatives
• Participate in ad-hoc compliance initiatives locally or globally as necessary
• Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in other functional groups and regions
