Technical Safety Officer

We have a highly attractive relocation package to one of our headquarters or working from anywhere in the world with occasional travel to visit your Team.
Offices: Riga, Tallinn, Malta. Vilnius opening Q2 2022.
Office team: over 190 and growing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
- As a Technical Safety Officer, you will make decisions that affect the safety and/or security of aircraft operations;
- Monitor safety trends in maintenance in accordance with Safety Management System;
- Present information related to maintenance safety to operational meetings that are held on a regular basis;
- Participate in safety investigations, reviewing and collecting related technical information;
- You will assist in the preparation of Safety Newsletters;
- Prepare training material and training schedule;
- Perform Safety inspections in maintenance organizations;
- Participate in Safety Report processing and communication
- Monitor all incoming reports, categorize and follow up in internal systems;
- Assist with the Safety Review Board Meeting and Reports.
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU
- You should possess good knowledge of HR principles, safety management systems, and maintenance methods;
- Previous experience in tasks related to aircraft maintenance and/or continuing airworthiness management and/or surveillance of such tasks is essential for this role;
- You should hold an Aeronautical Engineering Degree or thorough assessment of competence to prove sufficient knowledge to interpret maintenance requirements into maintenance tasks;
- You should have previous experience with a CAMO or Part-145;
- Completed relevant aircraft type training or familiarization courses will be considered an advantage;
- Good knowledge of the English language is essential in this role;
- Good knowledge and experience in operating computer software programs and handling computer data information are essential in this role.
