The Job

This role will lead a global team of software engineers delivering world class products used by Global 5000 Enterprises at the heart of their Continuous Delivery tools chains. The right person will drive innovation in our Release and Deploy product while ensuring our clients continue to be delighted.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a global, distributed team of engineers
• Provide leadership for all phases of the agile software development life cycle, to meet organizational level objectives
• Work closely with product management to define product strategy and be responsible for its timely execution
• Lead and influence stakeholders to drive architecture improvements
• Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices
• Maintain quality, set good development practices, and define standards that keep the focus on the right things
• Dig deep into complex problems, distilling complex and ambiguous situations into actionable plans for your team
• Develop, align, and guide initiatives promoting technical excellence, innovation, engagement, and diversity
• Coordinate and communicate across stakeholders that span several functional areas, including designers, product managers, test engineers, support and business stakeholders.
• VP level engineering responsibilities for team development and performance evaluation

Required Skills

• Experience working in a polyglot environment including Java, Scala, Python, React
• Excellent knowledge of cloud architecture.
• At least 10-years experience in IT & at least 5 years of hands-on software engineering experience
• At least 5 years of experience managing teams larger than 30 people
• Experience in leading, managing, coaching and mentoring engineering leads towards delivering timely, high quality software together with them
• University degree with focus on Computer Science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient spoken and written command of English
