About the job role

The job role is within the composition of Operational Risk Department. Therefore, the main duties of the Risk Control Officer are related to performance of different risk control functions, assurance of efficient risk control system, as well as to implementation of internal and external requirements. You will also need to step into the development of new products and processes, analyse existing practices, represent risk control function. You will need to closely cooperate with operational risk colleagues in other countries, also to maintain work relations with other structural units.

Functions and responsibilities:

  • Preparation of local risk reports and input to Baltic Banking and/or Group risk reports;
  • Monitoring and control of incidents, risks, projects registered in the centralised registry (Risk Compliance platform), initiation of relevant actions for risks mitigation;
  • Incidents reporting to the supervisory authorities;
  • Participating and representing risk control function in workshops, meetings related with development of the bank’ products, processes etc.;
  • Participating or leading the analysis and reviews of existing practices within the business;
  • Sharing know-how, providing support and advices, being a competence centre to other units in operational risk matters;
  • Performing other functions and duties assigned to the department.

The job role presupposes:

  • Good cooperation skills;
  • Strong analytical thinking;
  • Ability to assess and initiate relevant actions independently, undertake responsibility for you own deliverables and contribute to the team’s result;
  • Ability to see the overall picture and at the same time capture the details, accuracy;
  • Fluent Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken;
  • Experience (1-2 years) in banking, insurance or other financial area;
  • Understanding the processes of risk identification, mitigation and control.

Salary offered for this position ranges within 2250 -3350 EUR gross, i.e. before taxes.
