Aviation Safety Manager
We are searching for Aviation Safety Officer with a strong and self-confident personality, able to work with others well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, moreover - with demonstrated high degree of accuracy and attention to details.
Within delegated authority, You will be responsible for:
- development and implementation of Group aviation safety policy;
- constant monitoring of the Group’s overall aviation safety performance against the aviation safety policy;
- proposing of the annual aviation safety goals (including specific Safety Performance Indicators) to be applicable within the Group and its Subsidiaries;
- monitoring and assisting management as necessary in creating within the Group the single level of safety culture that achieves the highest possible industry performance measures;
- development of the Aviation Emergency Response Plan and ensuring that it is communicated to all officials concerned;
- organizing and coordination aviation safety drills and exercises required by the Group aviation safety policy;
- monitoring the effective integration of Aviation Risk Management into Group’s and its Subsidiaries aviation activities;
- investigation aviation occurrences involving Group’s assets and observed hazards related to aviation activities;
- management of Group and its Subsidiaries incidents and accidents central registry;
- reviewing recommendations arising from Group incidents and accidents registry;
- participating, as a Group representative, in the investigation of accidents and incidents involving Group’s assets and equipment;
- identifying, analyzing and monitoring trends that may affect the safety of Group’s and its Subsidiaries aviation activities;
- reviewing and assessing of the safety level established by the Group and evaluation of its implementation and performance by the Group Subsidiaries;
- reviewing of reports, assessments, notifications or any other formal documents received from Group Subsidiaries, aviation regulators and / or other authorities that may have a material effect on flight safety operations;
- identifying of what additional resources are required within the Group to implement agreed actions which enhance safety;
- drafting safety bulletins, newsletters and consolidated safety reports;
- promotes aviation safety awareness and just culture principles within the Group;
- considering any other matters affecting aviation safety within the Group.
What You Should bring:
- Good leadership and management skills;
- A minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible experience in air transportation, air traffic control operations, aviation safety or aviation engineering, with at least 2 years at the international level is required;
- High level of spoken and written English;
- Expert knowledge in the technical field of aviation safety management and accident investigation and prevention and experience in the use of ICAO aviation standards and recommended practices is desirable;
- Training and certification in safety management is required;
- MS Office advanced user with high proficiency in MS Excel;
- Project management skills.
