Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of books and records according to the groups IAS and statutory accounting principles, Bureau Veritas administrative procedures and local group standards
- Steer the local process for yearly and periodical financial planning in cooperation with the Business Units in line with regional objectives
- Ensure the accuracy of the reporting of financial data to regional controlling
- Analyse data and provide needed information (routine financial reporting and special projects) to support decision making processes
- Manage and coordinate country planning and outlook processes
- Coordinate and timely prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Coordinate the country cost planning
- Carry out statutory and groups requirements for treasury, tax, legal, insurance and other related administrative activities as well as social benefit programs
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors and partners
- Contribute to the protection of assets of Bureau Veritas
- Lead the subordinate employee in the area of responsibility in agreement with superior (individual development, motivation, assessment and feedback) and improve the professionalism and culture of the team
- PayRoll calculation
- HR Administration tasks in cooperation with HR Manager for the region
- Other job-related duties assigned by Manager
Skills & Profile
- Graduate level in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
- Minimum of 4 years job related experience in an accounting and / or financial environment
- Knowledgeable of Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS
- Excellent communication skills in Lithuanian (written and verbal)
- Very good (B2 level) English skills (written and verbal)
- Polish language knowledge will be considered as advantage
- Advanced PC skills. Knowledge of JD Edwards would be useful
