Job description:
- Expand current product (Aerotech motion control) sales to existing customers and introduce them to new products
- Conduct major interactions (face-to-face or virtual meetings) with target and existing customers
- Select the appropriate motion control components for customers by asking relevant technical questions and through a deep understanding of various applications
- Prepare quotations and assist on proposals for delivery to the customer
- Develop and maintain effective and efficient regional (Baltics) sales plans
- Follow-up all qualified leads and generate a strong business case in a timely manner
Required knowledge, skills or willingness to learn it (training provided by the company):
- Experience and understanding general automation and precision motion control principles
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Knowledgeable on prospecting, quoting, closing, order entry and completing of Application Data Sheets for the Baltics region
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and customer groups
- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
- Skilled at calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, as well as, applying concepts of basic algebra, geometry and physics to standard business and mathematical problems
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline
- Two years related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- English language
