Your responsibilities would be:
- Responsible for the mechanical components, assembling fixtures, measuring fixtures development life cycle: requirements engineering, documentation, design, implementation, testing, deployment to manufacturing;
- Handle mechanical components configuration management through Engineering Change Notices;
- Maintain existing products through sustaining engineering projects;
- Support cost saving projects;
- Develop fixtures for assembling and measuring processes;
- Create mechanical design concepts, conduct detailed studies, analyse requirements and outline mechanical specifications;
- Perform engineering investigations;
- Support Electronic and V&V Engineers from mechanical design perspective.
Here's what you'll need to be considered for this opportunity:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
- Knowledge of Solidworks;
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis (Minitab);
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing;
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing);
- Plastic part design knowledge;
- Creativity, enthusiasm and result orientation;
- Strong analysis and complex problem solving skills;
- Fluent in English.
