What you will do:
- Lead and monitor Oxylabs products privacy compliance program and contribute to the development of internal and external policies and procedures;
- Ensure the implementation of data subject requests policy and procedure;
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements, handle privacy-related documentation (DDQ, KYC, etc.);
- Provide legal advice on various data protection issues, including compliance with the GDPR and privacy laws of other jurisdictions across Oxylabs products;
- Advise on new or upcoming Oxylabs products and features, provide legal insights for the development of those products;
- Keep up with the latest legal news and market trends, proactively contribute your ideas and cooperate with other team members.
What we expect:
- Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.);
- At least 5 years of experience in the data protection field as an in-house counsel or in a law firm (experience with the tech sector would be an advantage);
- Excellent knowledge of GDPR and other data protection laws such as CCPA, as well as an understanding of soft law sources, e.g guidelines by the European Data Protection Board and Article 29 Working Party;
- Interest in and understanding of privacy, cybersecurity & related tech legal issues;
- Ability to work independently and together with a team;
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English and Lithuanian;
- Experience working on and managing numerous projects and tasks simultaneously under competing deadlines and a strong sense of ownership.
