Join our rapidly growing QA Test Engineering team in Nasdaq Vilnius tech hub where we build, implement and maintain manual /automation tests and apply solutions meeting our clients across the globe.
We are developing a worldwide product for global financial markets and testing both front-end/back-end software components applying the best industry practices using NFF (Nasdaq Financial Framework) micro services, code generation, etc.
In this position as Sr. QA Test Analyst or QA Test Specialist you would be testing Nasdaq’s Central Securities Depository application which operates on the dynamic, cloud-enabled NFF.


YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and analyze system requirements, provide testing task estimates
• Create and execute test cases in qTest tool
• Take full ownership to handle own test environments (e.g. Docker, Linux/Unix)
• Help and support test automation engineers with manual repetitive tasks & requirement coverage
• Identify and report reproducible defect reports via JIRA, track and maintain defects list
• Report on test progress and results to team members (scrum master, test manager, production coordinators)
• Support customers in their testing activities onsite and offsite (optional)


WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
• Computer science, Information systems or IT related background
• Several years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Experience with tools (JIRA, any test case management tool like qTest, TestRail, Test Link)
• Knowledge and skills to work in AGILE environment
• Great interpersonal skills, both written and verbal English


NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience working with Linux commands, databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• A curiosity about test automation (Backend /JAVA)
• Any financial / banking related experience
