Accounts Receivable Accountant

I am Aiste Kernagiene, leading Accounts Receivable and Shop Accounting Teams within Accounting Operations and Support department at Telia Global Service Lithuania. We are competency hub for Telia Company, delivering products and services in IT, Analytics, Telecommunication Networks, Software Development, Sourcing (Procurement), HR, Finance Operations. The hub is working with cutting edge technology to ensure group digitalization agenda across Nordics and Baltics.

Right now, I am looking for Accounts Receivable Accountant to join Standard Accounts Receivable team.

Your next challenge?

The team is responsible for invoicing, payments, and collection for some twenty legal entities. The team also plays an active role in projects and various ad hoc requests and investigations related to Accounts Receivable (AR) area.

To excel in this team, you need to be a flexible person who embraces change, have attention to details and have inspiration actively engage in driving and supporting improvements. You are also expected to support our stakeholders, the business, with expertise to ensure correct accounting. Some month end closing activities are also part of the role's responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Invoicing
• Handling incoming and outgoing payments
• Dunning (reminders/collection)
• Queries from customers and internal stakeholders
• AR related Customer support (internally and externally)
• Balance sheet account reconciliations
• Month end closing activities
• Collaboration with the business and other colleagues in AR related areas/topics
• Actively engaging in change and continuous improvements within the AR process

Who are you?

Your personality:

• You have strong communication skills
• You are analytical, structured and detail-oriented
• You are solution oriented and curious team player who enjoys collaborating with others

Your experience:

• >1 year of professional experience in the field of Accounting/AR
• Good excel skills
• Experience handling large volumes/files and automated flows (an advantage)
• Experience with SAP ERP (advantage)
• Solid in English language skills (knowledge of other Nordic languages considered an advantage)
