About the role
Nasdaq is looking for a Senior / Lead QA engineer to spearhead the establishment of a new Quality Center of Excellence for cross-product Quality Assurance and Quality Control at Nasdaq Global Technology in Vilnius. You will play a leading role in shaping the future strategy for quality management taking the organization towards an agile way of managing quality. The role encompasses the complete product portfolio of Software Products and Software Services for Market Infrastructure Operators and spans the complete securities transaction processing chain from trading via clearing & risk to settlement & depository. You will be working directly with the senior managers of the different product teams in the Product & Platform Engineering organization while impacting the work output of +500 people.

Your responsibilities
In this role, you will lead improvement initiatives in both areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Control. You will also provide thought leadership in the development of the future quality management strategy aimed at taking the quality ambitions of the product portfolio to the next level including adopting an agile way-of-working with a Quality Engineering mindset. Moreover, you will ensure that the Product & Platform Engineering organization has common practices and processes in place in all aspects of the quality work, from product development lifecycle governance to test process adherence and information security compliance.

Furthermore, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Lead quality management improvement initiatives within the existing quality assurance framework
• Lead change in test methodology and test process to improve quality in product deliveries for customers
• Develop KPIs for measuring quality, requirements coverage and test coverage
• Spearhead review processes in order to ensure that they align to QA framework, trends and best practices
• Plan, conduct, and monitor the test, and inspecting the products to ensure its quality
• Evaluate and assess continuous quality improvement within different product teams

You will bring
• Should have proven experience in the relevant area
• Experience from quality assurance maturity models such as TMMI and TPI
• Experience from agile quality management with experience from Quality Engineering
• Hands-on testing experience from technical complex systems in an international environment
• A history of analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems, find flaws and pose solutions to those flaws
• Demonstrated leadership, professionally or at a non-profit organization
• Abilities to engage and collaborate closely with external clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
• Decision-making skills that involve choosing alternatives and evaluating their relative merits
• Experience with project management skills sure would-be a plus
• Experience with functional, test automation and non-functional would-be a plus
• A strong inner drive and motivation, thriving in a high pace environment
• Strong with English communication

Monthly salary from (Gross): 3750 EUR, other bonuses apply.
