About the position
We are looking for an addition to our team: someone with a proactive and analytical attitude and good communication skills.
You would be responsible for helping our Purchasing team in planning and scheduling shipments, calculating shipping costs and other logistics related data, communicating with customers, and tracking inventory.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Performing calculations to determine shipping costs, fuel usage, and other logistics-related data
- Planning and scheduling shipments based on customer demand, warehouse inventory, and deadlines
- Communicating with customers to clarify shipment details or resolve issues with deliveries
- Coordinating with other departments within an organization to arrange for shipping services such as freight forwarders or trucking companies
- Packaging and labeling items for shipping using computerized systems that track inventory levels and order details
- Reviewing bills of lading and other shipping documents to ensure that they are accurate and complete
We expect that you are:
- Able to multitask
- Flexible and adaptable
- Have great communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive
- Can work independently as well as within the team
- Native Lithuanian speaker
- Can speak English (B1-C1)
- Knowledge of Spanish would be considered an advantage.
