We are looking for a Credit Controller to support our teams in Kenya and Uganda and help achieve profitable growth in this fast-developing market.
What you will need:
- High sense of responsibility, preciseness, and ability to plan and set priorities
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Responsiveness and positive attitude
- University degree or senior-year student
- Good MS Office skills
- Good English language skills
- Work time flexibility to cover peak hours upon demand
- Previous experience as a Credit Specialist or Analyst in financial/credit institutions would be an advantage
What you will do:
- Review leasing/loan applications and assure that all the necessary documents included
- Identify and minimize possible frauds and risks
- Assess the customer’s ability to pay and the quality of collateral
- Ensure the loan is disbursed timely and correctly
- Control applications quality by carefully monitoring and reporting process errors
- Help permanently build a profitable loan portfolio
