About the role

Our friendly Accounting Team in Lithuania is looking for an experienced colleague - Accountant / General Ledger Accountant! Currently, we have 2 members in the Lithuania branch supervised by Finance Headquarter in UK, so even though the team is small, we have wide variety of tasks.

As an Accountant, you’ll:

Take a part in overall accounting processes and daily accounting operations, such as:

• Handling of bookkeeping and payroll;
• Preparation and processing of closing month-end journals;
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations;
• Managing bank payments;
• Assisting in the preparation of VAT/personal income tax/social security tax reporting;
• Active involvement in the annual audit process;
• Active involvement in additional internal finance related projects.

Skills and qualities we appreciate:

• Good hands-on experience with Payroll and bookkeeping;
• Teamwork and cooperation skills;
• Experience with taxes: tax declarations, personal income tax, social security tax reporting;
• Experience with AccountsIQ is a plus;
• An eagle-eye and attention to details will be needed to maintain an accurate financial information;
• We aim to grow and be better than we were yesterday, so a can-do attitude is highly important;
• Solid English language skills, written and verbal;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets;
• Education in Business Management, Economy, Finance, or Accounting is a plus.
