DevOps Engineer • Telemedic

We are currently inviting an ambitious DevOps Engineer to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius, Lithuania and support the Teltonika Telemedic team. We design and develop next-generation medical devices, and we also solve current healthcare challenges. We aim to create and deliver smart solutions that are easily accessible to diverse communities, medical professionals and the elderly. We are currently working on a unique smart watch that can detect atrial fibrillation, and we are also developing a professional artificial lung ventilator.

Currently our team is expanding and we are looking for DevOps who will participate in development of new features, modifying existing firmware and improving architecture.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Work on our infrastructure using AWS CDK / Terraform
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Improve system observability, stability and security
• Identify and explore new technologies and build PoC’s
• Take part in architecture discussions and knowledge sharing with software engineers
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Work together with other departments to achieve common results
• Prepare documentation of completed tasks and functionalities

WE BELIEVE THAT YOU:

• Have an experience with system administration and configuration;
• Have a good understanding of Source Control Management, especially Gitlab;
• Have been implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery;
• Have experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK or Terraform (writing custom modules, managing upgrades, working with AWS providers);
• Have experience with application metrics, performance monitoring, and optimization;

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting technologies: Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack and related;
• Hands-on experience in public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Comfortable with at least one scripting language (Bash, JavaScript, Python, Go);
• A desire to write tools and applications to automate work;
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with partners and team members;
• Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and discover hidden opportunities in our environment.

OUR OFFER 

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 25 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~4300 Eur – 6000 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
