Using your experience and creativity, you’ll strengthen brand perception through marketing communications activities and events, encouraging engagement and application with current and potential candidates, with a focus on the following:

Role Responsibilities

  • Have you researched Western Union as an employer? Much of the branding, employee features, job promotions, social and cultural celebrations, ERG activities, and awards you’ve seen on our job boards and social and digital channels are within your scope to plan for, execute, and measure success for your region.

  • In partnership with your TA Leader, you will manage our recruitment marketing partners to execute targeted PPC, LinkedIn Pipeline Builder, Facebook Lead Generation, and Google Search & Display campaigns for your markets.

  • Brand monitoring on key review sites, creating custom landing pages on WordPress, building LinkedIn Life pages, researching and activating career fair details, and planning candidate giveaways are additional examples of employer brand activities you may be asked to lead for your region.

  • You’ll bring existing knowledge of recruitment marketing strategies and marketing communications skills to execute strategic deliverables for your markets.

  • You’ll build critical relationships with teammates, stakeholders, senior leaders, and others to be the most effective in your role and better position the Western Union employer brand.

  • Learning from our Employer Brand, Communications, Corporate Brand, and Legal teams, you’ll deepen your knowledge of our innovative branding for world-class, on-brand, and on-message content.

  • You’ll also gain a deep understanding of how what you do is imperative to our business.

Role Requirements

  • Education or equivalent skills are required, with at least three years of related experience in Communications, Branding, or Marketing for this role.

  • Experience in specific employer branding work as part of a Talent Acquisition organization.

  • Deep understanding of how an employer brand aligns with a company’s value proposition and helps attracts talent for a Fortune 500 company.

  • Demonstrated capabilities with social and digital media (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, Mogul, etc.), developing marketing and branding creatives, managing ads, and evaluating analytics.

  • Energetic and creative with impeccable organization, written and verbal communication skills, and the utmost attention to detail.

  • Ability to work individually or with others in a global, fast-paced environment, making quick decisions, following review and approval processes, and managing timelines thoughtfully with partners.

  • Working knowledge of WordPress, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop is preferred for this role.

  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint proficiency and experience writing for an international company, talent application tracking systems, and video production awareness will set you apart from other candidates.
