Talech, a U.S. Bank company is seeking a Technical Architect with strategic and influencing experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Architect, design and develop software systems and services for large multi-generational programs.
• Lead engineers, architects and product owners to develop high quality products and services that meet business requirements while applying the latest available tools and technology
• Participate in and contribute to design discussions and code reviews
• Set a high standard for software development and product quality, foster the adoption of best practices
• Take operational ownership of services and build a culture of operational excellence
• Collaborate with other security architecture resources within the organization and enterprise
• Offer technical guidance on technical standards, Cloud security practices, tools, or platforms

• 10+ years of professional experience building software products
• 5+ years working with large scale, high transactional distributed systems.
• BS or MS in computer science or related field
• Expertise in building secure, scalable systems using multi-threaded programming and distributed algorithms
• Expertise in building REST APIs and micro services using API-first strategy
• Solid knowledge of database technologies and database schema design
• Experience building and delivering highly scalable, reliable, and complex software systems in a hosted cloud environment using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Self-driven, innovative and pushes for high-quality measurable outcomes

Experience with:

• Java, Scala, PHP, Python or other modern languages
• Kafka, Spark, Druid, ElasticSearch,  
• Spring Boot  Framework
• CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins
• Infrastructure as code such as Terraform
