OAG is in the process of creating a new generation data platform to manage flight information data based on cutting edge cloud technologies. The platform processes several million events every day and will allow both near real-time data queries and historical analytical workloads. The platform focuses on creating new industry leading data sharing experience to our customer through diverse data distribution channels, such as: Direct Data Sharing powered by Snowflake, Data Streaming powered by Azure EventHub, RESTful APIs powered by Azure APIM, CosmosDB and App Services.

YOU WILL BE:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining OAG’s data platform
• Applying technical skills to help the business achieve its goals
• Applying Agile principles in day-to-day activities
• Producing and maintaining well-structured documentation
• Keeping up to date with relevant technologies and best practices

YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• 2+ years of experience working in Data field
• Solid experience in SQL development
• Hands-on experience with data warehouses including data modeling
• Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience in Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps, Git Actions or similar
• Great communication skills and willingness to work as a team
• Goal-oriented and positive thinking attitude
• Basic verbal and written fluency in English (B2)

• Experience in managing large datasets

• Experience in coding with C# or Python
• Experience in working within a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc)
