Job description
OAG is in the process of creating a new generation data platform to manage flight information data based on cutting edge cloud technologies. The platform processes several million events every day and will allow both near real-time data queries and historical analytical workloads. The platform focuses on creating new industry leading data sharing experience to our customer through diverse data distribution channels, such as: Direct Data Sharing powered by Snowflake, Data Streaming powered by Azure EventHub, RESTful APIs powered by Azure APIM, CosmosDB and App Services.
YOU WILL BE:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining OAG’s data platform
- Applying technical skills to help the business achieve its goals
- Applying Agile principles in day-to-day activities
- Producing and maintaining well-structured documentation
- Keeping up to date with relevant technologies and best practices
Requirements
YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- 2+ years of experience working in Data field
- Solid experience in SQL development
- Hands-on experience with data warehouses including data modeling
- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Experience in Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps, Git Actions or similar
- Great communication skills and willingness to work as a team
- Goal-oriented and positive thinking attitude
- Basic verbal and written fluency in English (B2)
WE'D LOVE IT IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience in managing large datasets
- Experience in working with Snowflake
- Experience in coding with C# or Python
- Experience in working within a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP, etc)
- Experience with infrastructure as code techniques
