We’ll be looking to you to be a key contributor to and ambassador of the Global Sourcing and Procurement function which is supporting Western Union employees worldwide in the acquisition of products and services on behalf of the company.

Role Responsibilities

  • You will support sourcing and procurement activities related to Western Union’s technology needs, namely working with the Software Category Manager to oversee third-party spending within the Software category.

  • Demonstrate exceptional expertise and proficiency within the contract management discipline.

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with GSP team members, WU Legal, and WU business units engaged in contract administration activities.

  • Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute supplier contracts, software licensing agreements, statements of work, letters of authorization, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents supporting multiple internal lines of business to ensure compliance with WU policies and applicable laws and regulations.

  • Maintain databases and repositories of supplier agreements (Workday Strategic Sourcing, Oracle), and create and analyze third-party spend reports.

  • Ensure compliance with WU contract preparation, approval, and signatory requirements.

  • Act as a key contributor and ambassador in continuously improving GSP’s contract management-related procedures, systems, communications, and training.

Role Requirements

  • A university degree in a relevant field.

  • 3+ years of expertise and proficiency within the (preferably international) sourcing and contract management discipline.

  • Experience with a broad range of sourcing/procurement systems, such as Workday, SharePoint, and Oracle, as well as Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Knowledge and experience in standard RFX process and methodology, drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions.

  • You will be analytical and have assessment skills including the capability to summarize results and communicate conclusions concisely.

  • You’ll have experience in negotiations.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, vendors, partners, and third parties.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 2283 – 3541 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
