The QC Manager shall:
- Be a qualified Engineer or Architect
- Have at least eight (8) years of experience in QC of infrastructural projects
- Category B driver's license
- Be fluent in English, written and spoken, as a mandatory requirement
- Be fluent in Lithuanian, as a mandatory requirement
- Proficiency in German is desirable
Job description:
- The QC Manager shall represent the Contractor in all the matters related to quality, including working drawings and liaison with the authors of the 100% work Design, technical documentation, materials submittals, tests planning and execution, implementation of the document and drawing control program, coordination of initial, interim and final inspections and works commissioning.
- The communications about technical matters with the Customer, to propose design changes if required or necessary, to obtain acceptance by Customer before implementation.
- The communication and liaison with the Customer and the Technical Control Team in order to coordinate inspections, works and materials acceptance.
- He (She) shall be the primary point of contact of Customer and Customer Technical Control Team on all the aspects related to the quality of the construction works.
- He (She) shall be responsible for ensuring the draft of the Construction log journal in accordance with the Lithuanian regulations by the Head of construction and the Heads of Special Structures as applicable.
- He (She) shall be responsible also for the quality control and the delivery of the as-built documentation, in English, German and Lithuanian language at the end of the project, and for the coordination of the preparation of all the protocols for the commissioning and the works acceptance (both the Lithuanian and the German protocol documentation). The conversion of documentation in German shall be coordinated by the QC Manager with the support of a professional translator.
- Due to the size and the complexity of the project, the Quality Control Manager will be assisted by a team of at least three Quality Control Engineers.
