Your Responsibilities
- Participate in developing the Regions (Germany, North France and Benelux countries) long-term sales strategy and annual business plans, driving their execution. Align the Regions sales objectives with Companies business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning and participation in budgeting.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales, profits, volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives, developing and creating a development of new business accounts and expanding existing business accounts.
- Closely engage in key clients negotiations to maintain and expend business with them, acquire and develop new business.
- Provide leadership to the divisions management team while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
- Ensure effective budget management, closely managing expenditures and delivering results within the allocated budget.
- Effectively partner cross-functionally with Customer Care, Forwarding, Planning, Transport, etc. to achieve performance objectives and strategic goals for the business.
Our Expectations
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience working with a B2B sales team. This demonstrates the ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
- Knowledge and understanding of logistics, including industry best practices and trends, is a definite advantage.
- Familiarity with organizational processes, procedures, standards, and the specific services provided by the company will be highly beneficial.
- Effective coordination and control of activities within the sales unit, ensuring maximum results and productivity.
- Ability to thrive in a complex and fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing circumstances and market conditions.
- Excellent organization and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Fluent English and German language skills are essential for effective communication with international clients.
- Proven ability to set clear goals, drive toward results, and take responsibility for the team's overall performance.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to embrace changes and innovation, constantly seeking opportunities for improvement.
- Flexibility and knowledge of international Western Europe countries culture.
