Job description

The Role

The People Services Specialist reports to the Global People Services Manager. The role will support the business to ensure we embody our People Mission and will be exposed to lots of different aspects of People Services.

Heres what youll be doing as our People Services Specialist:

  • Act as our Expert in overall People Services for all regions (Lithuania, Poland, UK and Turkey)
  • Be the face of TransferGo owning the onboarding and off-boarding of employees including: day 1 introductions, office tours, organising welcome packs and IT equipment, granting building access and ensuring a positive and seamless experience for all.
  • Seamlessly run payroll and benefits administration for all regions, identifying automation solutions. Ensure data is accurate, updated when necessary and ensure timely payroll execution.
  • Be the first point of contact for all employee queries through JIRA. Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate customer service-oriented interactions with employees, candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders. Ensure we are meeting our SLA and customer satisfaction score
  • Provide expert advice and guidance in relation to People processes, policies and complex employment matters.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity including employee records updates, mass requests, edit/correction data updates. Ensuring data accuracy and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement in People Services processes through optimisation and commercial savviness; finding opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency. Includes working with cross-functional teams to ensure that People Services decisions are aligned with the overall People strategy whilst maintaining a positive experience for our employees. Drive automation, value add work and compliance
  • Support the Global People Services Lead on the development of People Strategies, Plans, Policies and Programs
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team (Talent, Total Rewards, People Business Partners) when delivering the best possible employee experience across lifecycle stages.
  • Reply and offer outcomes and analysis to data requests received from People business partners and any other People centres of excellence
  • Lead and contribute on People projects.


  • 4+ years experience as a HR Specialist or equivalent, owning the administration of Lithuanian payroll, and employee benefits
  • Strong Lithuanian Labour Law knowledge
  • Experience with the full employee cycle (starting from onboarding up until offboarding)
  • Experience leading projects / enhancing processes / experience with people programs
