The Senior BI Specialist is responsible for concept, development and implementation of BI solutions based on business requirements by using agile methodology.

• Consult & support business stakeholders in reporting set-up and concepts;
• Transform functional reporting requirements to BI solution;
• Design & model solutions (i.e. create solutions prototypes, design data transformation processes across multiple domains);,
• Analyze, design, test, implement cloud based BI solutions;
• Document existing processes, architectures and implementations;
• Manage and coordinate the BI application lifecycle to deploy new developments and changes for the BI service;
• Support SLA-compliant operation of BI solution incl. incidents solving, error tracking and pro-active problem management;
• Challenges existing solutions, processes, technology strategies with novel ideas;
• Assists, mentors, and instructs local lower-level developers and specialists;
• Responsible for training team members, setting strategy and monitoring progress towards goals;
• Be administrational leader for local IT team up to 5 members.

• University degree in Information Technology;
• Comprehensive know-how and at least 3 years experience in:

- Design and delivering data platforms for Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse, including data ingestion, ETL, data integration and reporting;

- Implementing cloud-based, scalable Business Intelligence solutions (e.g., delta lake, data lake house);

- Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and/or analytics projects.

• Profound know-how in technical architectures and solution design for BI solutions;
• Expert knowledge Microsoft cloud-based BI solutions;
• Advanced knowledge of IT Service Management according to ITIL;
• Strong agile project management skills;
• Knowledge about ContiTrade business areas, business processes, and operations is and advantage.
