They are looking for a Credit Risk Manager to work in the Vilnius office.

Responsibilities:

Conduct detailed credit risk assessments and prepare written independent Second-line risk opinions and analysis per loan application.
Conduct due diligence calls or visits when appropriate together with first-line Relationship Managers.
Articulate a convincing case in support of the risk opinion to Credit Committee.
Stay connected with industry trends and macro issues which may impact the portfolio; be able to recommend changes or action impacting specific clients or groups of clients.
Have a good understanding of the regulatory environment that each of our counterparts operates in.
Analyze and measure exposure to credit risk including understanding of provision calculations and perform end-to-end credit strategy and data analytics evaluations.
Carry out second-line oversight role for driving continuous improvement in the Credit Risk Management framework.
Guide first-line credit risk owners in the implementation of Credit Risk policies and processes.
Lead Credit Risk Framework improvement projects under Head of Risk guidance.
Formulate and conduct analytical exercises to improve business strategies and policies and mitigate transaction and account level portfolio risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor portfolio trends and verify, check, and challenge assumptions during strategic planning process.

Qualifications:

University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Proven professional experience in assessing risks of small and medium-sized enterprises, and financial institutions.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Strong understanding of the financial sector and banking regulatory framework in the EU including IFRS 9.
Understanding of core macroeconomic processes and indicators.
Be fluent in Lithuanian and English. Other languages will be considered an advantage.
Pro-active, creative, self-motivating attitude with the ability to work independently while understanding when to involve other team members as needed and to work effectively in a team environment.
Effective interpersonal skills to interact confidently and clearly at different corporate levels as well as with external parties and stakeholders.
Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and oversee projects.

Company will ensure that the exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience, and requirements for the corresponding job function (Salary range from gross 3300 to 5000 EUR/monthly).
