We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team and drive the development of a data platform for our Cybersecurity Knowledge Graph. This role requires expertise in data engineering, big data technologies, and scalable data pipelines. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines, ensuring data quality and security, while collaborating closely with a cross-functional team to provide a robust data foundation for our cybersecurity platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design a highly scalable data platform for batch and real-time data processing.
- Apply data governance and security best practices across data workflows.
- Develop data models tailored to the Cybersecurity domain.
- Build efficient data collection, transformation, and analysis pipelines.
- Innovate in the areas of graph databases, graph analytics, reasoning, and large language models (LLMs) for cybersecurity applications.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity experts, product managers, developers, and other team members to deliver reliable data solutions.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in Python for data analytics and processing.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced in graph query languages (e.g., Gremlin, Cypher).
- Skilled in relational and NoSQL database systems; familiar with labeled property graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Cosmos DB).
- Proficient with streaming technologies such as Apache Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams, or Apache Flink.
- Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines for data workflow development and deployment.
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with ontology development and application.
- Experience with graph analytics methodologies.
- Experience in training and deploying ML/DL models.
- Experience in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) development.
