About I-Photonics
I-Photonics UAB is a leading company specialized in advanced vacuum coating and photonics technologies. We design and manufacture precision optical systems for laser and optical thin-film coatings, serving industries such as display technology, laser optics, optical filters, space and communication systems, security, and scientific research.
Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art IBS, PIAD,DLC and PARMS coaters of our own design, enabling high-performance coatings across a broad spectral range from 250 nm to 17 µm. We offer coating services for R&D, prototyping, and small-scale production, as well as customized system development with or without turnkey process solutions.
I-Photonics supports customers from initial feasibility studies to pilot and mass manufacturing, delivering tailored, high-precision optical solutions.
About the Role

I-Photonics is seeking a motivated and technically-minded Sales Engineer / Manager to join our dynamic Sales team. In this role, you will play a key part in promoting our precision optical components and systems to customers across a variety of industries.
This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of science and business, helping clients solve complex challenges with state-of-the-art solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing clients through proactive communication and account management.
- Identify and approach new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with clients to understand requirements and promote I-Photonics offerings.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to ensure technical alignment and support.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and events to represent the company and generate leads.
- Manage the full sales cyclefrom lead generation to closing and post-sale support.
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate CRM records.
