Your Role: As a Junior QA Engineer, you will ensure the functionality and reliability of our Self-Checkout solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced QA professionals, enhancing your skills and growing your career in a supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with an experienced QA engineers to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Design, implement, and maintain manual test suites using the TestRail system.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute testing activities efficiently.
- Analyse software specifications and requirements to ensure thorough understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for product improvements.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Validate deliverables to ensure they meet functional and design specifications.
- Conduct software functionality tests to identify and resolve issues.
- Track, register, and manage bugs/defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Apply Agile principles to optimize your workflow and project outcomes.
Required Competencies:
- Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passionate about identifying and addressing software imperfections.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with essential testing concepts, including the Testing Pyramid, writing test cases, and manual testing.
- Experience with MS SQL databases is a plus.
