Your Role: As a Technical Product Specialist, you will be the expert on our Self-Checkout (SCO) product, ensuring smooth deployment, installation, integration, and maintenance. You will support partners and internal teams, providing technical expertise and guidance to facilitate seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with application deployments and configuration changes to support new releases and updates.
- Handle tickets related to incidents and changes, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
- Be available for on-call duty to address urgent technical issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and their features, becoming the go-to expert.
- Provide technical support to team members and partners, answering questions and resolving product-related issues.
- Lead integration workshops and support new customer integration processes for our products.
- Conduct training sessions and product demonstrations to educate users on effective product use and maintenance.
- Be available for occasional travel to provide technical training, support product launches, or resolve complex on-site issues.
- Report bugs and share feedback with the product development team to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with technical documentation specialists to keep product documentation updated with the latest features and data.
Required Competencies:
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in MS SQL databases, with the ability to configure and manage.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and task management.
- Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of various hardware components such as scanners, checkout scales, cash machines, and other peripherals would be considered an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional support and service to partners, clients, and team members.
- Willingness to travel as needed to provide on-site support, training, and troubleshooting.
