Our client - leading company in the energy sector, providing professional services and solutions to clients across the industry.

Currently company is searching for Senior tax advisor

Your responsibilities include:

· Provide tax advisory support on business operations, contracts, transactions, and cross-border activities for company and its subsidiaries.

· Participate in tax compliance processes, including reviewing tax returns and other deliverables prepared by external service providers, as well as preparing tax calculations and analyses for specific tax matters (including VAT, CIT, and other relevant taxes).

· Monitor changes in tax legislation, assess their impact on business, and support the implementation of required changes.

· Identify tax risks and opportunities for improvement, contributing to the enhancement of tax controls, processes, and governance.

· Support tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and communication with external auditors.

· Collaborate with external tax advisors to address complex tax issues and assess the appropriate tax treatment.

· Support the finance team with complex tax matters and contribute to cross-departmental and cross-group projects requiring tax expertise.

We expect You to have:

· University degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

· At least 3 years of professional experience in taxation, gained in a tax advisory firm, accounting firm, tax authority, or an in-house tax role.

· Strong knowledge of Lithuanian tax legislation and reporting requirements, with practical experience in VAT and CIT; knowledge of other taxes would be considered an advantage.

· Ability to analyze complex tax matters and assess their impact on business operations and transactions.

· Experience in dealing with tax authorities, tax audits, and tax-related inquiries would be considered an advantage.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian.

· Good command of English, both written and spoken.

· Strong MS Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and a proactive, solutionoriented mindset.

· Ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate effectively within a team.

Salary: 2800 - 4500 gross monthly.
