Senior Java Software Engineer - iBudget team

• Design, build, and maintain highperformance, reusable, and reliable Java services;

What is needed in this role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or experience in solving complex engineering problems;

• Strong handson experience with Java, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and message brokers such as Kafka or similar;

• Experience in designing and implementing solutions in distributed cloud environments, ensuring security and resilience viewpoints;

• Deep understanding of microservices architecture and modern webdevelopment frameworks;

• Solid experience of Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles, and the ability to apply them at scale;

• Practical experience working with relational databases;

• A collaborative mindset that encourages constructive debate and helps the team make sound technical choices;

• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs, foresee architectural consequences, and make sound technical decisions in distributed systems;

• Fluent English communication skills, especially in complex technical discussions;

• A productoriented mindset and the ability to understand how technical decisions shape user and business value;

• Proficiency with AI-supported software engineering tools and practices;

• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, resiliency, and high-availability principles.
