Requirements for candidates
The Vulnerability Manager performs security vulnerability scanning activities towards infrastructure and applications of the Enterprise. Analyze and facilitate implementation of full vulnerability management lifecycle. Actively engages with stakeholders, auditors, and IT professionals. Maintains vulnerability management best practices up to date.
Skills and Experience:
- Technical understanding of network fundamentals and common Internet protocols
- Knowledge of server and workstation technologies and platforms
- Knowledge of Nessus, Qualys Guard, AWS Inspector, X-ray
- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems, driving solutions through to completion
- Technical understanding of the information security threat landscape (attack vectors and tools, best practices for securing systems and networks)
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Mainly works with enterprise vulnerabilities
- Perform information system security vulnerability scanning to discover and analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risks to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
- Perform compliance scanning to analyze configurations and facilitate implementation of configurations and hardening settings for networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components
- Coordinating activities with other stakeholders to ensure overall quality & timeliness of deliverables
- Communicate security and compliance issues in an effective and appropriate manner
- Recommend appropriate remedial actions to mitigate risks and ensure information systems employ appropriate level of information security controls
- Expand and improve the quality and efficiency of our vulnerability management program
- Establishes key risk indicators, improving quality, and reducing delivery time for services
Certification:
One or more recognized security and cloud-specific certifications, e.g., CCSP, SSCP, CEH, OSCP, Nessus or Qualys Guard related
