Relentless pursuit of better

You will operate within the Litigation department, which is part of the General Counsel Office.  Every year, Western Union receives thousands of subpoenas and other compulsory requests (collectively, "subpoenas") for transaction data and other information. The timely and accurate fulfillment of subpoenas is one of our many legal obligations.  You'll review all incoming requests and ensure they are compliant with our policies. You will search Western Union's transaction records for responsive information.  You will interact with law enforcement agencies, government entities, and private requesters, and maintain effective working relationships.

Here are some skills, attributes, and qualifications you will have:

  • Fluency in English

  • Outstanding verbal, writing, and listening Spanish language skills, Italian language knowledge would be an advantage

  • Strong analytical, time management and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • High degree of professionalism and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive matters

  • Passionate about working in a multicultural environment

  • Proficient computing skills with all common Office programs such as MS Excel, Word, Outlook (but not limited to) would be a plus

The annual gross base salary range is 12,566 – 18,548 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the Western Union total compensation package, which includes short-term incentives, multiple health insurance options, accident and life insurance, and access to best-in-class development platforms, to name a few!
