Job description
- A developer in this position will be working with data engineering and ETL development. In rapidly changing data world, BITĖ is seeking to find an open-minded team player who will not be afraid of challenge and be flexible to rapidly growing business. A person will work on Data Warehouse data implementations: technical data source analysis, logical data analysis (client, usage, sales, etc.), development execution - ETL implementation and support. In BITĖ we believe that automation is crucial to future proof delivery, so a candidate should have an automation-first mentality.
- A person in the position will be responsible for technical analysis of data sources, Oracle data warehouse, design data flows through ETL implementation, testing, supporting and automation. Estimation and optimization of current processes, active discussions, suggestions and initiatives related to data engineering, DB architecture. Furthermore, there will be an opportunity to learn Python for data analysis and engineering, Airflow, Hadoop, Hive and grow as a Big Data Engineer.
Requirements
- PL/SQL experience
- Oracle database knowledge
- ETL development
- Job scheduling and optimization
- Integration with other DBs through DBlinks, APIs, etc.
