Are you ready to shape and support the journey towards our Agile North Star?

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
  • Join a completely new team that will guide Group Channels & Technologies (GC&T) in growth towards future ways of working. We need your passion and expertise as an agile transformation lead/coach/trouble-shooter/mentor/influencer to succeed with this. Agile Coach is the title of the job, but what we hope to find is a true Change Agent. This team is completely new and in the start phase of defining our role and mission in the organization. 
  • Defining the ambition and goal for the agile future in GC&T and lead the way towards it. We have set an agile change strategy and will now realize it together with leaders, teams and value streams.
  • Infusing the organization with agile powers to grow the agile culture and mindset, by providing coaching, mentorship and training to teams and people in different roles and levels of the organization.
  • Supporting the movement towards increased agility on overall Swedbank level, where large initiatives are run to improve how we organize ourselves, our work and processes. We are here to influence such initiatives in a valuable direction, but to also support the adoption of them within the context of GC&T.
  • Support the bank common movement towards agile at scale, by leading implementation of SAFe concepts in areas where it is relevant. Our approach is not to use SAFe as a blueprint where we install it by the book, but we expect and use SAFe as guidance for reaching our agile North Star.
  • It will probably not always be a smooth operation, we are a big organization with different perceptions of agile. But as a team we are backing each other up, and we have a momentum in the company that brings great opportunities to drive change. We are convinced that this journey will be nothing less than extremely fun, challenging and learning!
    What is needed in this role:
    • To state the obvious; your mindset, personality and motivation is critical to succeed with this. To thrive as an agile coach at Swedbank you need to be an expert in finding the balance between understanding our environment versus pushing for (and inspiring to) change. 
    • You are curious to understand and have an open mindset to find the best ways forward. It would be great if you as a person feel happy when you get a chance to translate theoretical knowledge into practical solutions.
    • Relevant university degree
    • 5+ years of experience from coaching people and organizations in lean & agile principles, on different levels. You should have a toolbox of Agile practices and techniques that you can apply to various situations
    • Experience from agile transformation initiatives and journeys, preferably in a large organization context
    • More specifically, you should also have experience leading SAFe implementations, which has made you skilled in finding keys to succeed with such change beyond a mechanical level. It would be great if you have the SPC certification
    • Fluent in English
    • It is a great benefit if you, earlier in your career, have been practising more technical roles in an agile context. Maybe you started your career as developer but left the code writing due to your interest in people and change?
